I'm back!!!

Sorry it took me so long to post an update. We have had a very eventfull last few weeks!! We ended up packing up all our stuff about 3 weeks ago, and we did it in about 2 days. We brought all of it down and put it into our Garage at our new house. Aaron started working that following Monday, Josh and Carter went to camp and Aaron, Jack and I stayed at the Super 8 Motel in East Lansing. That was fun! NOT! There wasn't even internet access for us! We could have hooked up to Dial up, but, it cost per minute to make a LOCAL phone call! Finally, I had to just go and get a Library Card from the local library to even just check my mail. Then Jack started throwing books all over the place, so we had to go. We were supposed to have been able to move into our house last Friday, but, it wasn't quite cleaned up for us, so the builder asked if we could find a place to stay for the weekend and then we could move in on Sunday (this past one). So, we went back up to TC, stayed the night at the cottage for the first night, and with our best friends the 2nd night. Then we FINALLY got to come to our new home!!! We absolutely love it. Just having our own home for the first time is awesome. I still can't believe it's ours! I keep thinking someone's going to take it away! ;o) I know I won't like making the payments on it, but, it's better then paying rent!

I have a new job already too. I start on Monday!! I am still looking for daycare for Jack, so my builder's wife is going to watch him for me for the first week until I find someone. I'm not really thrilled about starting a job so soon, but, I will be thrilled when I get my paychecks! It's only 3 days a week, which is exactly what I was looking for. It will get me out of the house, but yet, I will still be here a lot too. I can handle that!!

Aaron's first week has been pretty rough. Last week was his first week working for the hospital but it was just orientation. This has been the REAL first week. He has been on call twice already this week and has to do it again tomorrow night. When he is on call, he has to stay at the hospital for at least 24 hours. He then has the next day off, but, he's so tired, he can't do anything. Luckily, he's only on call once this next week. Then he has a 3 day weekend. He is really looking forward to that! Then, on his regular shifts, he just has to be there from 7 to 5. Those aren't so bad, it's the 24 hours that's killing him. He was really tired when he got home this morning. Poor guy!! ;o)

well, I have more unpacking to do. We still have a garage full of stuff!!! Yippee!!
I promise I will do my best to post pics of the house this week. I still have to develop all my film from Disney!! I haven't even done one yet!!
