I did it!!!

Ok - I did it! I bought the treadmill!! I don't think anyone realizes how cheap I am. It is so hard for me to spend a large sum of money at one time. But I did it. And you will probably laugh when you hear how much it was. $337. To most people, that is no big deal, but to me that is HUGE! I seriously was about to have a corinary right there in the Wal-Mart Sporting Goods department!! And we actually saved some on it because my DH asked, for sake of my sanity, if we could get the floor model at a discounted price. So, we got a 400.00 treadmill for 337.00. It was already a "rollback" price of $375. I am still sick to my stomach about it, but it is getting easier to take. The problem is that I'm so used to not having any money, that I just want to hord anything that comes in. ;o) Slowly but surely, I will get over the fear that someone is going to come along and take all our money. I guess it's kind of a good thing. That way we have some in savings if the need arises. We are not rich by any stretch of the imagination (financially anyway). That is still several years away. My kids always ask if we are rich, and I say "not with money, but with love." They always start gagging. ;o)

Now, I need to share with you a conversation that went on last night between my DH and our 3 year old son (DS). Just so you all can understand this, DS likes to pretend he is Superman.

DS: (Pretending to rip off his glasses and his shirt open) "You want a piece of me?"
DH: "come on over here and try it"
DS: "Bring it on old man!!"
(at this point I am about to wet myself)
DH: (Showing his "muscles") "You want some of these guns?"
DS: "You want a piece of me?" It actually sounded like "You want a piece of meat?"
DH: "I'll give you a piece of meat!" "How about some turkey?"
DS: "I don't like turkey!!" I like, Bananas, and balogna, and cheese, and hot dogs......and mac and cheese!!!!!"

I am not making any of this up. I seriously couldn't breath I was laughing so hard. I don't know where this kid comes up with this stuff, but, he cracks us up daily!!

Hope you all have a blessed day!
